My passion for hospice began during my training in Internal Medicine, which is why I later completed a one-year fellowship and became Board Certified in Hospice and Palliative Care.  I had witnessed many patients die in the hospital hooked up to ventilators or during a failed cardiac resuscitation. This ignited my passion for hospice.  I commuted 3 hours each way from Connecticut to New York during my training which some thought was crazy! Over a decade later, I have had the opportunity to work for several hospice organizations in different states, mostly in the Valley. My experience has allowed me to witness both the good, and unfortunately the bad in hospice.   

 

As the Medical Director, I get to be part of a team which aims to stand out from the rest.  Our hand-picked staff will provide the highest quality of care people deserve. They will have less patients than average so that they can spend more time with the patients or their families.  They will be educators and facilitators. 

 

Neighborhood Hospice aims to change the local industry and educate the community about end-of-life care.
